Cinema City

Cinema City Bulgaria is the part of Cineworld PLC Group – one of the leading cinema groups in Europe. The Group operates in 9 countries: Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Israel, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ireland. Currently, the Group operates 222 movie theaters with 2,049 screens, run 3.500.000 shows and serves over 90 million customer a year.

Cinema City Bulgaria manages six multiplexes in 5 different cities - Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Rоusse, Burgas.

The first multiplex with 13 halls was built in Sofia in 2006. This was only the beginning of a very extensive development of the chain of cinemas in the country. The second multiplex with 11 halls in Mall Plovdiv opened in March 2009. A multiplex with 7 halls was opened in Stara Zagora in November 2010. In the same year, in December, opened the modern facility in Rоusse.Cinema City Galleria Burgas opened doors in 2012. It is equipped with the latest generation movie technologies, 10 modern halls, 5 of which are 3D.
Cinema City Paradise is the last addition to the cinema chain in Bulgaria with 14 halls.
